Dev Command

To make your developer experience even better using the Gothic Framework we created a hot reload feature for your app routes.

Run the following command to see your app locally hot reloading:

make dev

What the terminal shows

Each save prints what changed and what it cost. The file that triggered the rebuild is named first, artifacts that were actually recompiled report their size, and everything already cached is summed up in a single line.

Verbose mode

Add --verbose when you want the full picture. It shows every build phase and enables one log line per HTTP request. Request logs stay silent during regular hot reload so the terminal remains focused on your code changes.

gothic hot-reload --verbose

The generated app includes Gothic's Logger middleware, which formats request logs for local development and production environments. See Request Logging.
